OPERATING PRINCIPLE
RB-8X operates similar to magnetic heads that record the data to the hard drive. When the external field strength exceeds the magnetic saturation of the HDD surface material, all magnetic domains of the HDD surface are reoriented in the direction of the external field, and all information on the HDD is irretrievably destroyed. Reusing the HDD (after the system has been triggered) is impossible.
POWER
The system is designed to be continuously connected to 220V mains. If the system is disconnected, it continues to operate for 24 hours using the built-in battery.
